Valorant Reaction Time Test
Click when the screen turns green. The clock starts on the green, not on the click that starts the wait. You get one time in milliseconds and the rank band it lands in.
How a run works
- Click Start test. That only starts the wait.
- The panel turns red. A click before it turns green is too early and does not count.
- When it turns green, click. That gap is your time.
Rank bands
These are the bands on this site. They are not Riot's official rank requirements.
| Band | Time | What it feels like |
|---|---|---|
| Casual | 250–300 ms | You see the swing, then you click. Fine for unrated. |
| Gold–Platinum | 200–240 ms | A normal ranked click. Crosshair placement still decides the duel. |
| Immortal | 170–200 ms | A dry peek can be yours if the crosshair was already on the head. |
| Pro / Radiant | Under 160 ms | The line this page uses. One fast click is not a rank. |
The full table, with what each band feels like in a duel, is on the average reaction time by rank page.
Same click, other names
A valorant reflex test here is this same panel. People also type valorant reaction time when they want the raw number, not a guide. Both point at this page.
Under 160 ms is the pro / Radiant line used here. Named player clips stay on YouTube and Twitch. This page only keeps the line.
Questions
What is a good reaction time?
On this table, under 160 ms is the pro / Radiant line. 170–200 ms is Immortal. 200–240 ms is Gold–Platinum. 250–300 ms is Casual. The 214 ms sample next to the test sits in Gold–Platinum. These bands are for this page. They are not a lab average, and they are not Riot's rank requirements.
Is 200 ms reaction time good?
200 ms is the shared edge on this table. Immortal runs through 200. Gold–Platinum starts at 200. Faster than that, down to 170, is the Immortal band. Under 160 is the pro line. One run is not your rank. Take a few, and throw out the early clicks.
Is 275 ms or 300 ms a good reaction time?
Both land in the casual band, 250–300 ms. 300 ms is the slow edge of that band. They are the same band, not two different targets. Over 300 ms is slower than casual.
What is TenZ's reaction time?
This page does not keep a TenZ time. The pro line used here is under 160 ms. Named player clips stay on YouTube and Twitch.
Does a fast time win the duel?
Only if your crosshair was already on the head. A 180 ms click with the crosshair on the floor still loses to a slower player who was aimed.
Before you queue, run the warm-up. Five clean clicks, then stop.
